Katia Aveiro says Cristiano Ronaldo at his final World Cup | OneFootball

Katia Aveiro has said that, according to the information she has, Cristiano Ronaldo is playing in his final World Cup, and that it will also be his last finals tournament with Portugal.

According to L'Équipe, she spoke at the entrance to the Toronto stadium minutes before kick-off between Portugal and Croatia.

Highly active on social media since arriving in Miami for Portugal’s third group match, Aveiro earlier posted a photo montage titled “The last dance” featuring Luka Modric and CR7, former Real Madrid team-mates.

She urged supporters to savour the occasion and referenced his age, noting he is 41 and competing at a sixth World Cup.

Wearing a Portugal shirt, she robustly defended him, arguing that anyone who does not like Cristiano Ronaldo does not like football, before moving away from the microphones after shouting “Siuu”.
