Kayke has matched the longest starting run of his career, beginning a third successive game in Corinthians' Libertadores win over Independiente Santa Fe on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old's sequence has coincided with Fernando Diniz taking charge. According to Meu Timao, the new head coach had already heaped praise on the forward before his first match on the touchline.
He struck the opener in the 2-0 victory against Argentina's Platense in the first round, then featured in the Dérbi last Sunday, before starting again in midweek. His performances earned him a place in Conmebol's team of the round.
His previous best came in August 2025 when he filled in for Yuri Alberto, after inguinal hernia surgery, and for Memphis Depay, out with a right thigh injury.
He featured in the 2-1 defeat to Bahia and in victories over Vasco da Gama, 3-2, and Athletico-PR, 1-0. Partnered with fellow academy graduate Gui Negão, he did not score and then dropped to the bench once Memphis returned for the clássico against Palmeiras.
Across the current three starts he logged 82, 83 and 81 minutes, 246 in total, a little over half of his 2026 tally of 460. Since stepping up to the senior squad in January 2024 he has made 24 appearances and scored two goals, both this season.
Corinthians, leaders of Group E after the Neo Química Arena win, visit Vitória at Barradão on Saturday at 20:00 in the 12th round of the Brasileirão.
