Kean ‘expected to miss’ Roma vs Fiorentina for personal reasons | OneFootball

Moise Kean is expected to miss Roma v Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend, with the forward permitted to sit out on personal grounds after three games out injured.

Violanews.com reports that Kean and his partner are awaiting the birth of their second child and that he has been allowed to remain at home, away from the squad from 1-4 May.

During this period, the striker will continue his rehabilitation to address the physical issues that have ruled him out of Fiorentina’s last three Serie A matches.

In Kean’s absence, Fiorentina have beaten Lazio 1-0, drawn 1-1 with Lecce and drawn 0-0 with Sassuolo. Paolo Vanoli’s side are now seven matches unbeaten in the league after a disastrous first half of the 2025-26 season.

Roberto Piccoli led the line for the first two fixtures without Kean, but with Piccoli unavailable for the 0-0 draw against Sassuolo, Albert Gudmundsson started at centre-forward.
