Kemper double and VAR decision lift NAC Breda at Heerenveen | OneFootball

Boy Kemper's brace gave NAC Breda a 2-0 win at Abe Lenstra Stadion on Monday, dropping Heerenveen to eighth while NAC remain 17th in the Eredivisie.

Kemper opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a left-footed finish from the centre of the box.

Daniel Bielica preserved the lead with smart stops, notably denying Luca Oyen after the restart. Heerenveen pressed for a leveller but lacked accuracy in the box.

After substitutions on the hour, Lasse Nordas twice threatened with headers, yet NAC's back line held its shape.

Dylan Vente briefly thought he had equalised, but his effort was ruled out after a VAR review (69.). Moments later, a handball by Hristiyan Ivaylov Petrov was penalised. VAR confirmed the spot kick and Kemper converted from 12 yards (74.).

Denis Odoi later went off injured, with Jayden Candelaria introduced, as NAC Breda managed the closing stages.
