Conflicting accounts have emerged over Hertha BSC prodigy Kennet Eichhorn’s plans, with his future beyond the summer still unresolved.

Sport Bild reported on Wednesday that the 16-year-old is keen to leave this summer amid interest from several top clubs.

However, Sky Germany says the midfielder has not made a decision and that a stay in the German capital remains possible.

Sky Germany adds that Eichhorn is focused on recovering from a syndesmosis injury in his left foot, and he hopes to return before the end of the season.

Despite his age, Eichhorn has already made 14 first-team appearances for Hertha.
