Kerim Alajbegovic made an impact for Bosnia at the FIFA World Cup and he is increasingly likely to end up in Serie A, with Atalanta keen.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported updates about the teenager, who has rejoined Bayer Leverkusen.

Atalanta have come out in the open to move for the attacker. Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been keen on him but the Rossoneri haven’t stepped forward on their own as a club. Napoli also sounded out the player’s situation in April but haven’t moved beyond that. This has given Atalanta an opportunity and their move is picking up pace.

Alajbegovic and his entourage have expressed a willingness to join La Dea, who are ready to start with an initial offer of €20 million plus bonuses. Bayer Leverkusen will ask for more but it may not be the end of the move at all.

This also suggests that while Roma were initially keen, they have decided to focus on other targets.
