Key Barcelona board member in talks with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr | OneFootball

A member of the boardroom at La Liga champions Barcelona has emerged as a chief target on the part of the brass at two clubs in Saudi Arabia.

That’s according to market insider Sacha Tavolieri, who points towards Rafa Yuste as the individual in demand this summer.

Yuste, for his part, currently acts as the vice-president at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The Spaniard has been in the position for the last four years, having been appointed back in March of 2021.

And over the time since, Yuste had played a central role in both the day-to-day running, and high-profile business dealings of Barcelona.

In turn, it may come as a concern for those of a Blaugrana persuasion to learn of the 63-year-old attracting interest from the money-laden Saudi Pro League.

As per a report from the aforementioned Sacha Tavolieri:

‘Al Nassr wants Rafael Yuste from FC Barcelona to replace Majed Al-Jumaan as CEO of the club. Talks underway between Yuste and the Saudi club as Yuste also attracts Al-Ahli SC interest.’
