Regan Slater could be back involved for Hull City’s clash with Leicester, assistant boss Dean Holden says.

The midfielder has missed the last four games through injury but has trained ahead of Tuesday’s clash.

“Regan trained this morning and seemed to get through the session okay,” Holden said.

“We’ll have a little chat now about the squad that’s going down to Leicester this afternoon (but) he’s back on the training pitch which is a huge boost for us.

“He’s had a really good season. He’s been very consistent. He brings a different type of energy to that midfield when he’s in there and we’ve missed him a little bit.

“Hopefully we’ll get him back before the end of the season.”
