The summer transfer window is not yet open, yet Premier League clubs have already set plans in motion for 2026-27. The window opens on Monday, June 15 and closes at 11pm on Tuesday, September 1, a spell of just over 11 weeks.

Clubs can announce agreements in advance, to be formalised once the window starts. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, early moves include key Leeds United rivals losing an international striker, and former relegation rivals landing a star defender, alongside several managerial changes.

Arsenal have no arrivals so far. Jakub Kiwior has joined Porto permanently after a loan, and Karl Hein has moved to Werder Bremen on the same basis. Samuel Onyekachukwu is among eight players released.

Bournemouth have appointed Marco Rose as head coach. Andoni Iraola has left and is now Liverpool’s new head coach. Defender Marcos Senesi is departing as his contract expires and is expected to sign for Tottenham.

Brentford have signed Jannik Schuster from Red Bull Salzburg for £17.2m. Reiss Nelson has returned to Arsenal after a loan, and Ryan Trevitt has been released.

Brighton have brought in Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm for £21.5m. James Milner has retired, with Solly March and Adam Webster leaving as their contracts expire.

Chelsea have made no signings to date, with Xabi Alonso appointed as their new head coach. Aston Villa have made no ins or outs so far.
