Key Real Madrid star returns to training | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday been afforded some timely positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Kylian Mbappé has returned to group training alongside the rest of Xabi Alonso’s squad.

Frontman Mbappé has of course not played a minute of Real Madrid’s campaign at the FIFA Club World Cup to date.

This comes after the Frenchman was struck down by a bout of illness.

As much proved serious enough to see Mbappé admitted to a hospital in the USA, confirming the extent of his fever.

The 26-year-old is understood to have lost between four and five kilos in weight over the last week.

Safe to say, then, that all associated with Real Madrid will no doubt be delighted to hear of the latest word stemming from the club’s camp in the USA.

As revealed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, among others:

‘Kylian Mbappé is back in team training with Real Madrid today.’
