According to Fichajes, they are considering a move for the Athletic Club Bilbao midfielder, Oihan Sancet. The midfielder has been outstanding for the La Liga side this season, and he has 17 goals to his name in all competitions.

The player has an €80 million release clause in his contract, and any club hoping to sign in will have to pay up. Sancet has made a goal contribution every 114 minutes this season. In comparison, Fernandes has a goal contribution every 246 minutes.

Meanwhile, the report claims that Fernandes’ move to Saudi Arabia is gaining traction and Manchester United are preparing contingency plans. It will be interesting to see if they decide to sign the Spaniard in the coming weeks. He has proven himself in La Liga, and he has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United are willing to pay €80 million for him. The 25-year-old Spanish midfielder could certainly help them improve going forward. He is capable of operating as a central midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and find the back of the net as well.

Man United must keep Bruno Fernandes

Replacing Fernandes will not be easy for Manchester United. He has been exceptional for them since joining the club, and he has been extremely consistent as well. The Portuguese international has 19 goals to his name this season, and he has picked up 19 assists along the way as well.

Ideally, Manchester United should do everything in their power to keep him at the club for as long as possible. Apart from being a quality player, he is a leader of the dressing room, and his departure would be a devastating blow. However, if they are forced to cash in on him, Sancet could prove to be a quality addition.
