Kiat Lim in Valencia for urgent board talks and Nou Mestalla visit | OneFootball

Kiat Lim, Valencia CF president since March 2025, is in the city during the international break and plans urgent talks with club executives in the coming days, according to Superdeporte. It comes three months after his previous visit.

The son of majority shareholder Peter Lim will address on and off-field matters. The team's La Liga position and the transfer market are among the priorities.

Lim is set to visit the Nou Mestalla to gauge progress on the stadium works, which restarted a year and a couple of months ago. It will be his first trip there since construction resumed, after earlier visits when he joined the club's board.

The future ground is in the process of becoming a 2030 World Cup venue in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

Inside the club, neither Carlos Corberán nor Valencia want to add pressure by talking about Europe. The side are not far from seventh and, if they beat Celta next time out, would move to within three points of the Europa League.

With the summer window approaching, significant work lies ahead. Justin De Haas is already secured as the first piece of business for next season, but much remains to be done.
