Kick-off in the capital: FCB Women away to Union | OneFootball

The details of the first game of FC Bayern Women’s Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga title defence have been confirmed: on Friday 21 August, the Munich side, as reigning German champions, will contest the opening game of the 2026/27 season at 1. FC Union Berlin. The match will be played at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei and will kick off at 18:20 CEST.

The full fixture list for the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga 2026/27 season will be published on 16 July.

A venue with fond memories

The Munich women have fond memories of their only trip to the Alte Försterei to date. At the end of April, head coach José Barcala’s side secured the league title ahead of schedule with a 3–2 away win at Union.

Last season’s home game against the Köpenick women also laid down a marker: in November, FC Bayern Women comfortably beat the then-newly promoted side 4–0. With that in mind, the situation ahead of their next meeting in Berlin looks very positive from a Munich perspective.

Tickets for the season opener at Union Berlin will be available in the standing secion from €12 (children from €6) and seated section from €20 (for standard tickets).

The Z1 standing section will be made available for visiting FC Bayern supporters. Further details on when tickets go on sale and the arrangements for away supporters will follow shortly.
