Wolves are set to complete the signing of Kieran Trippier, and Rob Edwards will hope it can help the club attract further new recruits this summer.
Wolves are preparing for life back in the Championship, and the club have made some positive moves in recent weeks as they look to give Rob Edwards a squad that can win promotion next season.
It was reported last week that Andre had signed a new contract, something which very few saw coming, as it had been expected that the Brazilian would move on following relegation.
The Black Country outfit followed that up by reaching a verbal agreement with Kieran Trippier, who is set to sign an initial two-year deal at Molineux.
Bringing in the right-back is seen as a real coup for Wanderers, as he will not only bring high level experience on the pitch, but he is expected to be an influential figure in the dressing room.
Of course, there is still a lot of work to do in terms of reshaping the squad for Wolves, and several departures are inevitable in the coming weeks.
However, the Andre and Trippier news is evidence of the club flexing their financial muscles at this level, as the duo will be commanding hefty salaries.

Furthermore, those two deals will help convince others of the project at Wolves, and here we look at TWO more signings the club could make…

It has been claimed that Wolves are monitoring the Spurs midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Preston, who have an option to sign him permanently.
He fits the profile of player that the club will want, as the 21-year-old is an exciting young talent who has the potential to deliver in the Premier League.
Crucially, Devine also has Championship experience. He was excellent at Deepdale, and you would expect him to continue to flourish in what should be a better side.
Even with Andre looking set to stay, Wolves will need to address the midfield, and bringing in someone who can link play and provide that creative spark is going to be a priority. So, Devine fits the bill, and it would be a good opportunity for the England youth international to show what he can do in a team that expects to challenge for promotion.

The 35-year-old Fulham striker is another player that Wolves have been linked with, and it’s fair to say this is the one deal that all supporters want to happen this summer.
Jimenez is a modern day legend at Wolves, having made over 150 appearances following his move from Benfica in 2018, with the Mexican international an integral part of what was the best side seen at Molineux in generations.
Like Trippier, Jimenez would add experience and leadership to a dressing room that has lacked that at times this season.
But, this would also be a deal that has major benefits on the pitch. Wolves are lacking a prolific scorer, and it would be no surprise if they’re in the market for a few strikers this summer.
Despite his age, Jimenez scored nine Premier League goals for Fulham last season, so he still has a lot to offer, and he could be the ideal focal point for this new-look Wolves XI.
