Kinsky Gets 3.5, Porro With 8 | Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated In Disappointing Loss Vs Atletico Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a win in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie. Spurs made a horror start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the sixth minute when Marcos Llorente found the back of the net. Antoine Griezmann doubled his side’s advantage in the 14th minute before Julian Alvarez made it 3-0 to Atletico a minute later. Robin Le Normand scored his team’s fourth goal in the 22nd minute before Pedro Porro got a goal back for Spurs in the 26th minute. Igor Tudor’s men went into the half-time break 4-1 down on the scoreline.
Alvarez scored again for the Spanish club in the 55th minute, but Dominic Solanke got another goal back for the away side in the 76th minute. The match ended with Spurs suffering a disappointing 5-2 loss away from home.

He made a couple of costly errors at the back and was replaced in the 16th minute.

Romero did his fair share of defending and was unfortunate to hit the post.
CB: Kevin Danso – 5.5/10
He tried his best to show some fight in the face of adversity, but was far from convincing tonight.
CB: Micky van de Ven – 5/10
Van de Ven made a poor mistake at the back and looked shaky on the defensive end of the field.

RW: Pedro Porro – 8/10
He was a real threat going forward and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 5.5/10
Sarr made a poor error at the back and failed to impress during his time on the field.
CM: Archie Gray – 5.5/10
He struggled to get a foothold in the game.
LW: Djed Spence – 6.5/10
Spence secured the ball back twice and made a few driving runs with the ball.
RW: Randal Kolo Muani – 5.5/10
He was quiet in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
ST: Richarlison – 6/10
Richarlison worked hard and managed to secure an assist.
LW: Mathys Tel – 6.5/10
He caused a few headaches for his marker, but there was no goal for him.
