Koke extends Atlético de Madrid contract until 2027 | OneFootball

Koke will remain with Atlético de Madrid after signing a new contract to 30 June 2027, the club announced on Wednesday. The deal keeps the captain in red and white for the 2026-27 season, which begins on the weekend of 16 August.

The 34-year-old Spanish midfielder’s renewal should please Diego Simeone, particularly after the departure of Antoine Griezmann.

Promoted to the first team on 19 September 2009, Koke has since become the most capped player in Atlético’s history.

He has made 740 appearances for the club, scoring 50 goals and providing 122 assists.

Beyond individual numbers, his honours include eight trophies with Atlético, two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, two Europa Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups and one Spanish Super Cup.
