Konyaspor host Fenerbahçe in the Süper Lig at Konya Büyükşehir Stadyumu on Saturday, 9 May 2026, with the visitors aiming to consolidate Champions League qualification and the hosts looking to firm up a top half finish, weeks after the Konya side knocked them out of the Türkiye Kupası.
Fenerbahçe hold the broader head to head edge with 55% of past meetings, but Konyaspor won the most recent clash 1-0 in the cup quarter finals to tilt some momentum towards the home side.
Konyaspor arrive in form, winning four of their last five across competitions, including league victories over Trabzonspor and Antalyaspor, plus that cup run, with only a narrow defeat at Çaykur Rizespor. Kanarya's last five show two wins, one draw and two defeats, bouncing back with a 3-1 league win against Başakşehir after losses to Konyaspor (cup) and Galatasaray.
Selection could matter. Kanarya are without suspended goalkeeper Ederson and forward Nene Dorgeles through injury. Konyaspor list midfield option Ufuk Akyol and forward Tunahan Taşçı as injured.
On season profiles point to contrasting levers. Kanarya have scored 71 league goals with 58% possession, 85.54% passing accuracy and 50.52% shooting accuracy, so they could look to control territory and create volume. Konyaspor, who average 52% of the ball and have eight headed goals, may try to turn quality deliveries into chances against a defence that has conceded 34.
Kanarya sit second on 70 points. A win would move them to 73 and strengthen their grip on Champions League qualification. Konyaspor are ninth on 40 and three points here would take them to 43, consolidating their top half position and nudging them towards the upper pack.
