Krejci ‘in talks’ as Real Sociedad explore deal with Wolves | OneFootball

Real Sociedad are in talks over Ladislav Krejci with Wolverhampton, though the sides remain apart on price.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 27-year-old left-footed centre-back is among the defenders La Real are negotiating for, and discussions with Wolves remain open. Other targets are also being pursued.

Krejci moved from Girona to Wolves in August 2025 for €30m, now the main hurdle. La Real will not go near €30m, nor the €20m paid for Óskarsson and Sadiq. His market valuation of about €22m is still seen as high.

He is open to returning to La Liga after Wolves were relegated to the Championship. Real’s recent Copa title and European football make the project attractive.

La Real are acting without urgency, seeking a left-sided centre-back as a tweak to Matarazzo’s squad. Talks will continue in the coming days, and Wolves are reluctant to take a loss. Relations are good after last summer’s €4m plus €2m deal for Goncalo Guedes.

At 1.91m, Krejci is strong in the air and comfortable on the ball. He captains the Czech Republic and featured at the World Cup, scoring in a 2-1 defeat to South Korea. He made 32 appearances for Wolves last season.
