Kurt Zouma signs for Al-Wasl following CFR Cluj contract termination | OneFootball

Kurt Zouma has joined Al-Wasl after terminating his CFR Cluj contract, with the 31-year-old moving to the United Arab Emirates top flight. Al-Wasl announced the signing on Thursday.

The former Chelsea and West Ham defender becomes part of a side currently fifth in the league. Trained at Saint-Étienne, the France international has 11 caps and one goal.

After a 2024-2025 loan at Saudi club Al-Orobah, the free agent signed a two-year deal with CFR Cluj on Wednesday, three September.

Only five months later he left Romania citing unpaid wages, ending his contract and becoming a free agent.

He made four appearances for Cluj, three in the league and one in the national cup.
