Kylian Mbappé insulted match officials during Valencia v Real Madrid, filmed at half-time. According to L'Équipe, the footage included exchanges before the restart.

Real Madrid won 2-0 at Mestalla, sealed after the interval by goals from Alvaro Carreras and Mbappé.

At the break Mbappé approached the fourth official to contest an offside and ask for an explanation. The official proposed talking inside, away from cameras. As Mbappé headed for the dressing room he said, "Tête de bite va."

Before the players returned, he again sought answers in the tunnel and grew impatient. He turned to Eduardo Camavinga and said, "C'est trop des bouffons les arbitres, frère."

Earlier he had also pressed the official on why he would not come inside to discuss the decision. The France captain repeatedly sought an explanation without receiving one.
