Kylian Mbappe takes new shirt number at Real Madrid | OneFootball

Kylian Mbappe will wear the number ten shirt for Real Madrid from next season.

Mbappe will take the shirt following the departure of Luka Modric to AC Milan, with the Frenchman changing from the number nine he wore last season.

The France captain has worn the number 10 shirt at international level and will now take the number for his club side.

He follows a long line of iconic Real Madrid players to have worn the shirt, including Michael Laudruo, Luis Figo, Mesut Ozil and Modric.

On Wednesday, Mbappe posted a message on his X account that simply read: ’10’.
