La Liga announce 2025-26 fixtures: El Clasico dates between Real Madrid and Barcelona confirmed | OneFootball

La Liga has released the fixtures for the 2025-26 season, which likely feature a title head-to-head between Barcelona and Real Madrid again.

The Blaugrana are the defending champions after finishing four points ahead of their Madrid rivals last term.

Under the new leadership of Xabi Alonso, Los Blancos will look to reclaim the crown in 2025-26.

Barcelona will start their season at Real Mallorca in the first of their three consecutive away matches. Their first scheduled home fixture is against Valencia in September.

Madrid host Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu in Alonso’s first domestic match in charge. They travel to newly-promoted Real Oviedo for their second fixture.

El Clasico dates confirmed

The El Clasico clashes between Real Madrid and Barcelona are the most anticipated fixtures of the season.

Barcelona completely dominated their arch-rivals last season, winning all four encounters between the two sides.

Hansi Flick’s men sealed a league double over Madrid, and also defeated them in the finals of the Copa del Rey and Supercopa de Espana.

The first Clasico of the upcoming season will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 26.

Barcelona will then host the highly anticipated reverse fixture at the redeveloped Camp Nou on May 10.

Madrid will visit Atletico Madrid on September 28. The return game is scheduled for March 22.
