The brass at RCD Mallorca are hopeful of bringing in a trio of players from La Liga rivals Barcelona this summer.

This comes amid confirmation that the Bermellones have now set their sights on a member of the defensive ranks in Catalunya’s capital.

The player in question? Héctor Fort.

Mallorca, of course, have already landed one member of Hansi Flick’s Barca squad this summer, in Pablo Torre.

The Son Moix hierarchy are also widely reported to have set their sights on Blaugrana starlet Jan Virgili.

And as alluded to above, early this week, a third youngster currently plying his trade with the Spanish champions has been tipped to link up with Jagoba Arrasate’s side, too.

Amid the understanding that his place at the Camp Nou for the season ahead is no longer guaranteed, the aforementioned Héctor Fort has made his way onto Mallorca’s transfer wishlist.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘There has been interest from several teams, including Mallorca, and his departure could be accelerated in the coming days if there isn’t a radical change in Flick’s plans.’
