Lack of minutes could push Peléh towards Benfica exit | OneFootball

Peléh’s future at Benfica’s futsal team is in question, with the summer signing short of minutes and a departure being considered, according to Glorioso 1904.

The board led by Rui Costa is studying his situation, and his continuity is viewed as unlikely given his limited use.

The Brazilian is unhappy with his game time and may weigh up leaving, having arrived from Fundão in the summer. Squad depth has not helped his prospects.

In his role under Cassiano Klein, he sits behind André Coelho and also Afonso Jesus, while on the wings Silvestre Ferreira, Pany Varela and Arthur are preferred. He did feature against Famalicão, but has not been an influential figure.

This season he has made 12 competitive appearances for Benfica, eight in the Liga Placard, three in the Futsal Champions League and one in the Taça de Portugal. He has recorded seven goals and four assists.
