Lamine Camara finished runner-up for the 2026 Marc-Vivien Foé award, which recognises the best African player in Ligue 1 for 2025-26. Mali’s Mamadou Sangaré won.
According to Nice-Matin, Lyon’s Senegalese Moussa Niakhaté was third.
The Senegal midfielder has now been nominated for three consecutive years without winning.
He was also among the final three in 2024 and 2025.
