Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams trained with Spain in Chattanooga on Thursday, their preparation appearing on track.

According to L'Équipe, the pair joined the early rondo and took part in a light-hearted initiation of head taps from team-mates, which captain Rodri declined.

The wingers had stayed at the base in Tennessee while their team-mates travelled to Mexico to face Peru earlier this week, a 3-1 win in Puebla.

Head coach Luis de la Fuente said on Sunday that they would be ready for Spain’s first match, Monday 15 June at 18:00 against Cape Verde.

The only absentee from Thursday’s session was Osasuna winger Victor Muñoz, who has been sidelined for several weeks and also did not make the trip to Puebla.
