Lamine Yamal’s market value has soared after his exceptional season with FC Barcelona, followed by his recent contract renewal which extends until June 2031.
According to the latest report from the CIES Football Observatory, the young Barcelona forward is now the most valuable player in world football, with an estimated market value of €402.3 million.
This figure places him far ahead of the next highest-valued players. Erling Haaland of Manchester City ranks second with a value of €239.6 million, while Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham is third at €233.8 million.
In fourth place, but still significantly behind, is Kylian Mbappe, whose market value stands at €192.5 million.
Among the top-valued players, Barcelona midfielder Pedri is the second-highest ranked Barcelona player. He holds sixth place overall with a market value of €143.7 million, just behind Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala, who is valued at €154.8 million.
Pedri’s value has risen sharply following a strong season and places him ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr., who was a Ballon d’Or contender last season.

Though not in the top ten overall, Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi stands out as the highest-valued central defender.
At just 18 years old, the Barcelona centre-back is ranked 12th on the list, with a market value of €118 million.
Following Cubarsi, other Barcelona players appearing in the rankings include Alejandro Balde (€89.7 million), Fermin Lopez (€85.7 million), and Gavi (€85.1 million). Raphinha, aged 26, is also listed with a market value of €82.6 million.
