Gavi, as a result, is facing up to an incoming spell of four to five months on the treatment table in Catalunya’s capital.
This news is understood to have hit the youngster hard, another significant setback in his fledgling career.
A number of Gavi’s teammates, in turn, have been quick to take to social media, to send messages of support and encouragement to the Spanish international.
