Lamine Yamal sends World Cup message to Barcelona teammate | OneFootball

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has taken to social media, to send a message of encouragement the way of teammate and compatriot Fermín López.

This of course comes fresh off an altogether difficult last couple of days for the latter.

Fermín for his part featured from the off on Sunday, as Barcelona locked horns with Real Betis in a La Liga clash.

With 45 minutes on the clock, though, the 23-year-old was hauled off owing to an injury.

It was subsequently revealed that Fermín had suffered a broken bone in his right foot, forced to undergo surgery and ruled out of the World Cup as a result.

Safe to say, then, that the midfielder is no doubt feeling rather down at present.

As alluded to above, teammate and friend Lamine Yamal has therefore taken to social media, in an attempt to lift Fermín’s spirits.

In a post on his official Instagram account, the 18-year-old wrote:

‘We will do it for you, my warrior’
