Auxerre will have Lassine Sinayoko available again for Saturday’s Ligue 1 home game against Brest, while Oussama El-Azzouzi and Lasso Coulibaly remain sidelined.
L'Équipe reports that Auxerre, currently in the relegation play-off place, kick off at 19:00 on matchday 27.
Sinayoko served his suspension in the 0-1 defeat at Marseille on 13 March. He has been involved in 58% of Auxerre’s goals, 11 of 19, with six goals, three assists and two own goals forced. Auxerre are Ligue 1’s lowest scorers.
The Moroccan midfielder El-Azzouzi has already missed the past six league matches due to hamstring then knee problems and is not yet back. Coulibaly is out with an ankle injury.
Right back Lamine Sy was ill on Thursday and will be assessed on Friday. Centre-back Telli Siwe has returned with the reserves and played a half. Midfielder Yvan Zaddy, 19, has suffered a serious knee injury with the reserves and will undergo surgery, ending his season.
