Late substitute rescues Alanyaspor at Göztepe | OneFootball

Ibrahim Kaya levelled in the ninth minute of second half stoppage time with a low finish, earning Alanyaspor a 2-2 draw at Göztepe.

Brought on in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time, Kaya immediately offered depth, pulling on to the last line and setting up one more direct thrust.

He then timed his run onto Fidan Aliti's through ball and guided a composed strike into the bottom left. The chance arrived from a central lane, with Kaya attacking the gap between centre-backs as Aliti punched the pass through.

Kaya's efficiency told. He finished with one shot, one on target and one touch in the box, converting with his only attempt. For a forward introduced so late, that single, clinical contribution changed the game's outcome.

Because Alanyaspor kept probing from the back and Aliti stepped in to pass through pressure, Kaya's movement on the shoulder repeatedly threatened in the final moments and forced Göztepe to retreat.

Alanyaspor remain 11th and host Kocaelispor next. Göztepe, fifth, are scheduled to face Galatasaray.
