Lazio are considering a hierarchy reshuffle that could bring Hellas Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano to the club.

According to The Laziali, Sogliano could depart Verona when his contract expires at the end of the season, although the hierarchy will try to keep him and talks are expected soon.

The 55-year-old has admirers elsewhere, with Lazio the only club named so far.

A shake-up at board level is under discussion, with current sporting director Angelo Fabiani potentially moving up to general director, a switch that could open a berth for Sogliano.

Sogliano’s profile aligns with Lazio’s strategy, which is leaning towards signing talented young players.

He is in his second stint at Verona after a first spell from 2012 to 2015, returning in 2022 and helping deliver significant capital gains through buy-to-develop deals, with Tijjani Noslin and Reda Belahyane among the examples. He previously made his name at Varese and also worked at Bari and Padova, with brief spells at Palermo and Genoa.

The Biancocelesti are expected to undergo a wider revamp, with nine players on deals expiring in June 2027.
