Lazio have received timely boosts to their accounts, with multiple revenue streams totalling around €40m.
The campaign has included a transfer ban, key January sales, an injury crisis and protests against president Claudio Lotito. Il Corriere dello Sport estimates that a Coppa Italia win could be worth €7.1m in prize money, with runners-up bringing €4.6m, based on last season.
Lazio face Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia final and could yet finish with silverware. Regardless of the outcome, they are almost guaranteed a place in the Italian Super Cup.
Organisers could scrap the four-team mini-tournament and return to a one-off match. With Inter close to sealing the Scudetto, a runners-up finish would still secure Lazio’s berth.
The Super Cup is likely to be staged in Italy rather than Saudi Arabia, so the winner can no longer count on a €10m prize, though participation would still provide a lift.
Off the pitch, Lazio have agreed a multi-year deal with new main shirt sponsor Polymarket. The agreement is worth $22m in total, around €19m, averaging roughly €7m per year.
Serie A clubs also benefit from a settlement between the Lega and IMG over international TV rights. The agreement is around €300m to be shared across the top flight, with Lazio’s portion estimated at about €20m.
