Lazio ‘to seek’ Bayern deal for Jonathan Asp Jensen with sell-on clause | OneFootball

Lazio are keen on Bayern Munich youngster Jonathan Asp Jensen and are exploring a deal that would include a significant sell-on clause.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports the move could cost around €4 million, with Bayern retaining a sizable sell-on fee that would guarantee profit on any resale. The approach mirrors a growing trend in deals for young players.

The 20-year-old Dane hails from Gauerslund and progressed through several academies in his homeland before joining Bayern’s youth ranks in 2022.

He spent this season on loan at Grosshoppers in the Swiss top flight, making 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and adding six assists.

Primarily an attacking midfielder, he can also operate in central midfield or as an inverted left winger. His Bayern contract runs until June 2028.

Lazio sporting director Angelo Fabiani and colleagues are said to be pushing the talks forward as Gennaro Gattuso targets young, affordable additions.
