Lazio’s summer overhaul is set to be extensive, with the club preparing for a near-total rebuild amid a toxic end to the season that included a reported refusal by Gustav Isaksen to come off the bench during the final day victory over Pisa.
According to Il Messaggero, via LaLazioSiamoNoi, Isaksen declined to enter the pitch when called upon in the closing stages of the match, an incident described as having “amplified the tension in the dressing room” and one that will almost certainly accelerate his departure from the club this summer.
With head coach Maurizio Sarri increasingly closer to leaving the club to join Atalanta, it promises to be a summer of overhaul for the Roman side.

The Dane is not the only attacker whose future at the Stadio Olimpico is uncertain.
Pedro’s departure is confirmed, while Boulaye Dia, set to be officially signed from Salernitana, is also understood to be considering his options despite the purchase being completed.
The club’s stance is clear: no one is considered indispensable, and all offers will be heard, particularly for attacking players.
Tijjani Noslin has attracted the most concrete external interest, with Bologna and Feyenoord both understood to be monitoring the Dutch forward.
One of Lazio’s more lively performers this season, Noslin’s profile and age make him a saleable asset at a time when the club need to generate funds to finance what promises to be a wide-ranging rebuild.
