Le Havre will enter next Ligue 1 season without DNCG restrictions after a hearing confirmed the club faces no limits.
The club said in a statement that the commission took no restrictive measures, describing the outcome as strong and positive and crediting majority owner Blue Crow Sports Group’s commitment to consolidate finances and strengthen the club.
It is the first time since June 2023, following their return to Ligue 1, that Le Havre approach a season without recruitment controls.
The end-of-season hearing was held on Wednesday morning, attended by president Jean-Michel Roussier, an owner representative and the club’s finance staff. Blue Crow Sports provided the guarantees requested of all clubs in recent weeks, and the majority shareholder had already met requirements during the 2025-2026 campaign.
A press conference is scheduled for Thursday late morning at Stade Océane, where Roussier will address the decision and set out aims for 2026-2027. On that occasion, Didier Digard is expected to be confirmed as head coach and the arrival of Demba Ba, succeeding Mathieu Bodmer as sporting director, is expected to be announced.
