Le Havre host Marseille in Ligue 1 at Stade Océane on Sunday, 10 May 2026, with the hosts chasing breathing room in the survival battle and the visitors pushing to stay in the European mix.
Le Havre face a stern test against Marseille, who have won all five recent Ligue 1 meetings listed between the sides, including 6-2 in October. The stakes are clear near both ends of the table.
Form points both ways. Le Havre are unbeaten in five league games, but all were draws. Les Olympiens have just one league win in their last five and were beaten 3-0 at Nantes last time out.
Injuries shape the options. Le Havre list Abdoulaye Toure, Noam Obougou and Stephan Zagadou as sidelined. Marseille have Geoffrey Kondogbia, Nayef Aguerd, Hamed Junior Traoré, Tim Weah, Conrad Egan Riley and Bilal Nadir out.
This could tilt on control versus delivery. Les Phocéens have scored 59 league goals with 58% possession and 88.28% passing accuracy, and Mason Greenwood sits third in the scoring chart on 15, supported by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Igor Paixão. Le Havre have 30 goals but carry a direct threat. Issa Soumaré leads them with seven goals and five assists, and they have six headed goals from a high open play crossing output.
Le Havre, 14th on 32 points, could ease relegation pressure with a result. Les Olympiens, 7th with 53 points, may close on the European spots, with the top six within reach if momentum returns.
