Le Normand said it was not easy to leave for Atlético or to part from Imanol.

According to Diario Vasco, the defender reflected on the move and the personal difficulty involved.

He made his Real Sociedad debut on the second of December 2018 under Asier Garitano.

That first appearance did not come under Imanol, who had been his backer.

Le Normand has since completed his switch to Atlético.
