The League One transfer window has been brisk across the division, with Leicester City and Bromley yet to make an addition. Following relegation from the Championship, Leicester have been patient with their business.
According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Danny Ings is reportedly set to become Leicester’s first arrival, the 33-year-old expected to sign a one-year contract. Midfielder Henry Cartwright has joined Bradford City, and further departures are anticipated before the deadline.
Promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday are pushing on with a rebuild after a difficult 2025/26, adding seven players. Louie Barry has arrived from Aston Villa, with Callum Slattery, Barry Bannan, Sil Swinkels, Jordi Liongola, Ricardo Santos and Harry Gray also signed.
AFC Wimbledon have recruited Steven Sessegnon, Dan Sweeney and Zack Nelson. Blackpool have brought in Ilmari Niskanen and Dion Charles, while Bradford City landed Adam Phillips and Jake Beesley. Doncaster Rovers have signed Alfie May and James Husband, and Reading have added Jacob Brown.
Wycombe Wanderers have strengthened in goal with Conor Hazard and Matt Macey. MK Dons have moved for Dan Barlaser and Charlie Goode, and Notts County added Max Sanders and Emile Acquah. Updates across League One are set to continue throughout the summer.
