Leah Galton will leave Manchester United at the end of the current campaign after eight seasons at the club.
The winger was a part of the first United squad that entered the second tier in the 2018/19 season with Millie Turner and Ella Toone the only other survivors from that first campaign under Casey Stoney.
Galton was part of the team that earned promotion to the WSL at the first time of asking and started in the 2024 FA Cup final victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
“I never thought I would be here for this long and still doing the thing I love doing, so I’m always proud of how far I’ve come," Galton said about her departure.
"It’s been a journey and I’m just happy to have done it here. I know the girls will go on to do great things and I'm excited to see that."
In total, the 31-year-old has played over 170 times for the Red Devils but has featured just nine times this season due to injury.
