The ongoing hiatus from club football has seen some interesting developments come to the fore about Real Madrid’s jerseys for the upcoming seasons.

Yesterday, the first look at Real Madrid’s home kit for the 2026-27 season came out, and it now appears that another kit of the same season has appeared in leaks.

According to FootyHeadlines, as relayed by Defensa Central, images of Real Madrid’s possible third kit for the 2026-27 season have come out, and it surprisingly features pink as the primary colour.

A unique design

It is true that the source of the information is an unofficial leak and that nothing has been confirmed by either Real Madrid or Adidas, but the first look at the possible third kit shows a unique design starring pink.

On the pink base is a subtle pattern inspired by Real Madrid’s shield that is also fused with the odd detail of more Latin aesthetics. Further, Ivory brushstrokes feature on the shield.

Notably, Real Madrid previously featured pink as the hero of their third kit already in the past – both in the 2014-15 and the 2020-21 campaigns. Both seasons, however, did not end with the team winning any serious silverware.

The hope, needless to say, will be that Real Madrid can beat the curse of pink in 2026-27 by winning a major title in it – something that is usually a non-negotiable at a club of Real Madrid’s stature.

While this is only a sneak peek, the official announcement of the jersey is still a long way out and it remains to be seen if the leak is indeed accurate.

For the moment, however, the focus of the club offices will be to ensure the team return in top gear after the hiatus.
