Many Rossoneri took a starring role for their respective national teams on Friday 15 November. It'd be impossible not to start by mentioning Rafa Leão, whose momentum continued following the brace against Cagliari by scoring for Portugal against Poland in Porto. After a very balanced hour of play, the Rossoneri number 10 opened the scoring with a diving header on a cross from Nuno Mendes to finish off a counter-attack launched by Rafa himself. Martínez's side ran out 5-1 winners to secure the top spot in their Nations League group.

In the same competition, another two Rossoneri were in action. Álvaro Morata came on in the 69th minute of Spain's 2-1 away win over Denmark, helping to secure the reigning European champions' spot at the top of Group A4. Noah Okafor started and played 65 minutes of the 1-1 draw between Switzerland and Serbia in Zurich, with the Serbians unable to count on the suspended Pavlović and injured Jović. It wasn't all senior-side action, however. There was a lot of AC Milan involvement in the Italy U20s win over Poland in the Elite League: the Azzurrini came back to win 3-2 despite the Poles being 2-0 up in the 78th minute. Rossoneri Bakoune, Torriani and Zeroli started the match, with the goalkeeper standing out for his huge penalty save in the 96th minute to ensure Bollini's side walked away victorious.
