Lee Kang-in started for Paris Saint-Germain in the Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo but went off injured in the 35th minute.

L'Équipe reported the incident.

Luis Enrique named the South Korean in the starting XI ahead of Bradley Barcola, Senny Mayulu and Ousmane Dembélé, who was still short of full fitness, at kick-off.

He felt a problem in his left thigh, sat down to indicate he could not continue, then left the pitch assisted by two PSG medics.

Senny Mayulu came on in his place.

Until this game, Lee had missed only three matches since the start of the season.
