Leeds host Keith Andrews’ side at Elland Road under the lights, where a win would take them six points clear of the relegation places for the night at least.

Brentford also sustained a possible new concern during Monday’s draw with Wolves.

Fabio Carvalho is out for the season after an anterior cruciate ligament injury and November surgery. Antoni Milambo also had ACL surgery in November and is out for the season. Josh Dasilva is returning from ACL surgery and two further operations late last season, and has rejoined some first-team training this month under careful management.

Rico Henry faces several weeks out with a hamstring problem, as outlined by Andrews earlier this month, and is not expected back soon. Aaron Hickey sustained a hamstring injury against Brighton last month and is expected to be out until after the international break. Vitaly Janelt, who suffered a metatarsal issue in the Brighton game, is also out until after the break.
