Leeds and Ipswich ‘keeping tabs’ on Yunus Musah as Lazio eye deal | OneFootball

Lazio are targeting AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah, but face competition from the Premier League. Gazzetta suggests that Leeds United and Ipswich Town are monitoring the American’s situation.

Lazio are reported to be offering a loan for two million euros with an option to buy for 18 million euros, which would become an obligation if they qualify for Europe.

Musah, 23, came through Arsenal’s academy before impressing at Valencia. Since joining Milan in 2023 he has struggled for minutes and consistency.

He spent last season on loan at Atalanta, used in various roles with limited chances to convince. He has returned to Milanello this summer and Milan are open to offers, with his contract running to 2028.

In recent years he has featured in central midfield, wing-back, wide and as a No 10, though box-to-box looks his most natural role. If the priority is an attacking midfielder, Lazio might look elsewhere. Dinamo Zagreb’s Luka Stojkovic could fit that profile, but the Croatian champions want more than 10 million euros plus guarantees.
