Leeds fan 'Little Mick' found safe in Barcelona after more than 10 days missing | OneFootball

Leeds United supporter Michael 'Little Mick' Hewitt, 65, who had been missing for more than 10 days, has been found safe and well in Barcelona.

He had travelled from Leeds to the city last week en route to Boston for England's group-stage match against Ghana. His brother, Gary Hewitt, said in a social media post on Wednesday morning that he had been unaware of the widespread search.

He had been out of contact since 21 June, and his family reported him missing after 10 days without news. Appeals were shared widely by the media and across the football community.

It marked the straightforward and happy resolution his relatives had hoped for. Further details were promised once authorities had been informed and normality returned.
