Friday night’s 3-1 home win over already relegated Burnley moved Leeds nine points clear of third-bottom Tottenham, with Spurs having four matches remaining.

West Ham were next in action on Saturday at Brentford, where the hosts won 3-0 to climb into sixth and leave the Irons in danger of dropping into the relegation zone.

Leeds now sit seven points above West Ham, and both teams have three fixtures left. The Irons host title-chasing Arsenal next.

West Ham remain two points ahead of third-bottom Tottenham, but Spurs can move out of the drop zone and above the Irons if they win their game in hand at Aston Villa on Sunday night.
