The Moot Hall Arms in Leeds city centre is gearing up for Leeds United’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, with the landlady describing the matchday mood as electric.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the tie is at Wembley on Sunday, 26 April, kick-off at three pm, and the pub will run an all-day event from 10am. It marks the club’s first semi-final in almost 40 years.

Supporters can expect big-screen coverage and a live DJ. The walls are lined with Leeds United memorabilia gathered from around the world, making it a draw for locals and visitors.

Many fans who missed out on Wembley tickets are travelling from across the country, with some flying in from overseas to be part of the scene. Being there to watch often feels like being part of something special.

For supporters it is a nerve-racking occasion, since victory would take Leeds to a first FA Cup final since 1973. The landlady is completely confident they will win and says she already has plans for 16 May.
