Leeds United’s summer schedule is taking shape as the club prepare for a second season back in the Premier League.

Daniel Farke’s side secured safety with three games to spare, finishing 14th, eight points clear, despite a final-day 3-0 defeat at relegated West Ham. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the coming weeks bring World Cup action, transfer window movement, fixture release and pre-season friendlies.

The World Cup begins on Thursday, June 11 with Mexico v South Africa at 8pm. Noah Okafor will be the first Leeds player in action on Saturday, June 13 when Switzerland face Qatar at 8pm.

Also at the tournament are Brenden Aaronson with USA, Gabi Gudmundsson with Sweden and Ao Tanaka with Japan. The final takes place on Sunday, July 19.

The summer transfer window opens on Wednesday, June 14. Premier League fixtures are released on Friday, June 19 at 10am.

Leeds then head to America, meeting Wrexham on Sunday, July 25 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. They follow up against Sunderland on Friday, July 30 at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
