Leeds United can look ahead to their second season back in the Premier League after finishing 14th, eight points clear, despite a final-day 3-0 defeat at relegated West Ham. Daniel Farke’s side secured safety with three matches to spare.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, a busy summer follows only two weeks after the 2025-26 campaign ended, with the World Cup starting on Thursday, June 11 when Mexico face South Africa at 8pm.

Noah Okafor is the first Leeds player in action on Saturday, June 13 as Switzerland meet Qatar at 8pm. Brenden Aaronson, Gabi Gudmundsson and Ao Tanaka are also competing for USA, Sweden and Japan.

The summer transfer window opens on Wednesday, June 14, then Premier League fixtures are released at 10am on Friday, June 19. The World Cup final is on Sunday, July 19.

Pre-season begins in America on Sunday, July 25 with Leeds United v Wrexham at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The second friendly is on Friday, July 30 against Sunderland at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
